The Lets Do Business Schools Programme seeks to develop a spirit of enterprise within national and secondary schools in the county through active learning in a range of enterprise competitions, events and enterprise clubs.
Enterprise
Through the Lets Do Business Schools Programme, the Donegal County Enterprise Board works with teachers and students in both National and Second Level schools to develop an enterprise culture within the county. We seek to foster in students the relevant skills and values which will assist them to integrate different perspectives on schooling and opportunities beyond, creativity, innovation and self-reliance; and the ability to generate, recognise and seize opportunities.
We here in the Donegal County Enterprise Board believe that learning should be fun, exciting and hands-on, and we run a range of programmes on a learning-by-doing principle. Whether that means setting up and running your own schools business through the Student Enterprise Awards Competition or getting to meet and learn from real entrepreneurs and business people or taking part in our Business Simulation Competition you can gain knowledge and skills for business and enterprise.
Through this website page we intend to keep you up to date with information on the various competitions and events that the Lets Do Business Programme will facilitate and also provide you with information that might help you in developing your enterprising skills.
